Microsoft has released version 16.21 of Office for Mac with added support in Word for macOS 10.14 Mojave’s Continuity Camera feature, enabling you to insert a photo from your iOS device into your document (see “How to Take Photos and Scan Documents with Continuity Camera in Mojave,” 27 September 2018). Excel gains a built-in reply box for cell-based comments, and PowerPoint now lets you print presentations with slide numbers. All Office apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) also enable you to apply sensitivity labels to documents and messages to keep them compliant with your organization’s information protection policies. Office 2016 include applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. They’re available as a one-time purchase for use on a single PC. Microsoft 365 plans include premium versions of these applications plus other services that are enabled over the Internet, including online storage with OneDrive and Skype minutes for home use. The following workflows included with Office for Mac do not work: In Excel, Import text file and create a table. In Word, Send a PDF version in an Outlook message. In Outlook, Send image attachments to iPhoto. Notes do not display attachments in Outlook for Mac.

Office for Mac that comes with a Microsoft 365 subscription is updated on a regular basis to provide new features, security updates, and non-security updates. The following information is primarily intended for IT professionals who are deploying Office for Mac to the users in their organizations.
